The He Kākano Tīhāte has been designed based of the whakataukī “He Kākano Ahau” The design starts at the base (te kākano) and blooms into a rakau which has been designed to represent our pēpi growing and flourishing from birth into tamaiti into adulthood. The rakau is there to represent the limitless growth potential our tamariki have. The sleeves are woven with our signature kowhaiwhai design that represents protection & strength.
With the colours being inspired by our home, Our Marae; A cream base & maroon detailing.
