Nau mai, Haere mai ki The Pēpi Pozy! We are whānau owned & operated pakihi based in the heart of the Waikato-Tainui Region. Proudly Tracing our whakapapa back to Ngāti Hauā and Ngāi Tahu.
Born from a deeply personal journey of reclaiming our whakapapa for our pēpi, The Pēpi Pozy has now grown into a pakihi dedicated to revitalising our culture not only for our pēpi but for Te Iwi Māori.
Our Haerenga - The last three years
Three years ago we had a newborn pēpi, living in an unsafe home and getting by because of the benefit. Three years on our whānau has moved into a warm & safe home, Our pakihi has allowed us to koha to over 170 fundraisers and kaupapa and we have been able to create jobs for our whānau.
2023
Launch year
There was no big 'sell out' launch when we begun. The first year of our pakihi we attended over 35 markets across the Waikato & BOP to help get our name out there and generate enough putea to create our custom kākahu
2024
Our first pop up shop
In 2024 we took our biggest risk in business so far and opened our first pop-up shop at Tauranga Crossing. There was a line at the door waiting for us to open and we were convinced they were all at the wrong shop
2025
It took over our whare
This was out WTH is going on moment. We somehow went from a little pakihi doing 10-20 orders a week to having over 1000 in a week and realising we needed to shift our whānau somewhere that had more room for our pakihi to grow
