Our Tāniko pattern has been designed to represent the weaving together of stories, perspectives and upbringings we all hold as Tangata Whenua; It is about weaving together the whakapapa we all hold and reclaiming our Māoritanga through unity.
This pattern is so special to our pakihi because our entire pakihi kaupapa is about reclaiming our reo and revitalising Te Ao Māori. The Tāniko pattern is the perfect representation of our kaupapa and brings Te Ao Māori back into everyday life through kākahu
